You now hear an uproar about 12/21/12 so much now. It's like Countdown til 00 all over again!?

Anybody who doesn't live under a rock heard of this. What do you think? Are you running out to buy a stock of can goods and bottled water? Are you a believer, and If so can you tell me why and give any factual info on this?
